Sanjukta Sinha Dance Company was founded in 2019 , by Bismillah Khan yuva Puraskar awardee Sanjukta Sinha, in Ahmedabad the city of textiles & designs popularlly regonized as the world hertiage city.

Rooted in traditions yet recreating them in newer forms, the company’s motto is to celebrate diversity in unison. Sanjukta Sinha Dance Company propagates such connections which involvesthe self, unleashing passion, creating art and thus unfolding a dialogue ofquestions. Sanjukta Sinha

Sanjukta Sinha is a highly acclaimed Indian classical dancer known for her expertise in Kathak. Born in Lucknow, India, she has gained recognition both nationally and internationally for her performances. Trained by renowned gurus like Pandit Arjun Mishra Ji and Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhia Ji, she has mastered the traditional Kathak style while adding her own contemporary flair.

Sanjukta’s performances are captivating, blending traditional Kathak elements with modern sensibilities. With her dynamic stage presence and expressive storytelling, she holds audiences spellbound. She has received the prestigious award Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Academy, India for her contributions to Kathak
